We know you're looking for a "Wedding DJ" but...
Let's say the quiet part out loud and get it out of the way. The term “Wedding DJ” tends to conjure a specific image: over the top cheese and fake authenticity. That's never the vibe anyone wants at their wedding so why do so many DJs end up being the one vendor that gets a pass for it?
Don't get us wrong, we’ve been in this industry long enough to have seen our fair share of amazing DJs. We’ve also seen our fair share of not so amazing DJs. But, more than anything, we think of the DJs our clients have told us about:
At worst, the DJ who only played the music he liked, spent the whole night on the mic, and didn’t seem to care about the couple.
At best, the DJ who played the right songs, and kept people out on the dance floor. That’s a fine start, but why is the bar so low? Our clients want their guests to have more to say than that.
