From the very beginning, we knew two things. The first was that we wanted to stick with nice, round numbers. In Megan's words, we weren't "doing any of this $4,995 B.S." ​The other was that if someone booked us, we didn't want to hide the best version of ourselves behind an upsell that some couples couldn't afford. You won't find a dull base package that you have to add "enhancements" onto or any overpriced premium packages.

 

If you choose to work with Sophisticated Whimsy, you'll get both of us, our full attention, and the best sound and lighting we have to offer for your entire wedding reception (including cocktail hour and dinner.) All you have to decide is if you'd like us to help with your ceremony too.​

  • "Are There Any Additional Costs/Fees?"

    • That's not our vibe. We may have to ask for travel expenses or a room for some destinations but we serve most of Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina at no additional cost. 

  • ​"Do we have to pay our full balance upfront?"​

    • You only need to make a $500 payment to reserve your wedding date. After that, we have a few payment plan options to get you paid in full 30 days before your wedding date. If, for any reason, your wedding will no longer happen on your booked date and rescheduling isn't possible, we will refund all payments made other than your $500 date reservation.

  • ​"We want to book you as our DJs but we're interested in something you don't offer. What should we do?"​

    • We'd love to talk about that. We're happy to work with you and other wedding vendors to help you get everything you want for your wedding. ​

  • "What do we do next?"​

    • Whether you're ready to book today or still exploring your options, the next step is to fill out our contact form​. We'll confirm that we're available for your wedding day and email you to set up a "Vibe Check" video chat where we can answer any questions you have and make sure we're going to be the right fit for your wedding.
